Lab Coat

from Trellis I Tripod by The MOTES

/

lyrics

They call the lab coats in. Pinholes in the curtain. Cavernous vaults shut.
The analyst slips. Inhabitants get locked. It is a trap.
I read the book six times, I memorized each line. Too much disease.
His hands commit sick crimes. They build the trap.
Why do the humans build the trap?
Why do they walk into the trap?
You put your glasses on. And you see through walls.
With the pinholes gone. It’s still a trap.
